A transfer from the University of Central Florida, Goodwin was named the 2018 ASUN Player of the Year, leading the team to an ASUN regular-season title and a bid to the National Invitation Tournament. “Brandon was the best player in the Atlantic Sun both of his seasons,” said FGCU head coach Michael Fly, who was the program’s top assistant at the time and the one who originally scouted him.
