“Florida Gulf Coast University has much to be proud of as we begin our 19th academic year,” President Wilson G. Bradshaw says in this new video briefing.
He highlights a number of benchmarks of success, including:
- Current students are the “most academically prepared ever, the most diverse group ever and the most engaged in the community.”
- Academic programs have been strengthened and new faculty hired.
- Tuition and fees have not increased for the fourth consecutive year.
The president also talks about FGCU’s impact on students and on the community.
“Its influence is visible everywhere — on our engaged and enthusiastic students, on our successful alumni and on our region, the state and beyond,” he says. “This rich combination of positive influences is what we call The FGCU Effect.”
