Florence Tanner

Florence Tanner (Nursing) recently completed a master’s degree in nursing in public health at Grand Canyon University, with a personal focus on disaster and emergency management. She works as a registered nurse at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. “Everything I studied the last two years is happening in real time,” she says of working in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I am looking forward to being able to contribute more to my community during this difficult time.”
