Ben Spence (master’s in health services administration), Lee Health’s chief operating officer, has been named the healthcare system’s next president and chief executive officer effective Oct. 1, 2026. The appointment follows an extensive national search. The Lee Health Board of Directors approved the appointment in a June meeting.
