Learn more about Renaissance Academy

Renaissance Academy logoOpen houses are scheduled in January for the public to learn more about FGCU’s Renaissance Academy, which offers lifelong learning and enrichment programs through more than 900 single lectures, short courses, day trips, concerts, special events, travel abroad experiences and more.

The public is invited to meet instructors and register for winter and spring programs at these free events:

  • Saturday, Jan. 14, 2-4 p.m. at the Atrium, 8695 College Pkwy., Suite 1181, in Fort Myers;
  • Sunday, Jan. 15, 2-4 p.m. at the FGCU Naples Center, 1010 Fifth Ave. S., Naples.

Free program guides are available at local libraries or by calling (239) 425-3272 (Collier and Lee Counties) and (941) 505-0130 (Charlotte County). Links to digital catalogs are below. Participants also can browse programs and register securely online registration at RegisterRA.fgcu.edu.

There are no exams or grades at the Renaissance Academy, just learning with friends, neighbors and peers. Course fees are typically $25 per lecture, and program locations are throughout Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
